एक बार की बात िै, प्रजापालन में लीन त ुंगध्वज नाम का एक राजा था। एक बार वन में जाकर वन्य पश ओुं को मारकर वि एक वट के पेड़ के नीचे आया। विााँ उसने ग्वालों को भक्तत-भाव से अपने बुंध ओुं सहित सत्यनारायण भगवान का प ू जन करते देखा। अभभमानवश राजा ने उन्िें देखकर भी प ू जा स्थान में निीुं गया और ना िी उसने भगवान को नमस्कार ककया। ग्वालों ने राजा को प्रसाद हदया लेककन उसने वि प्रसाद निीुं खाया ,क्जससे भगवान खखन्न िो गए और जब वि नगर में पि ुंचा तो विााँसबक छ तिस-निस ि आ पाया तो वि शीघ्र िी समझ गया कक यि सब भगवान ने िी ककया िै। वि दब ारा ग्वालों के पास पि ुंचा और ववधध प ू ववक प ू जा कर के प्रसाद खाया, तो श्रीसत्यनारायण भगवान की क ृ पा से सब क छ पिले जैसा िो गया I
Glory of the offerings of Lord Satyanarayan:-
Once upon a time, there was a king named Tungadhwa who was engaged in the welfare of his people. Once, after going to the forest and killing wild animals, he came under a banyan tree. There he saw the cowherds worshiping Lord Satyanarayan along with their brothers with devotion. Out of pride, the king did not go to the place of worship even after seeing them, nor did he pay obeisance to God. The cowherds gave prasad to the king but he did not eat it, due to which the Lord became upset and When he reached the city and found everything destroyed there, he soon understood that God had done all this. He again reached the cowherds and did the ritual worship and ate the Prasad, then by the grace of Lord Satyanarayan, everything became as before.
